About the Project

We were each given a brochure on Riding Mountain National Park. From this information, and any other information we could glean from our research, we had to come up with the content, site architecture, and navigation. What was important and how to organize that was left totally up to my discretion.

This was my first project using CSS for more than just the styling of fonts. I used only one table for basic positioning, and CSS for all the rest.

Site Features

Photoshop was used to edit any images and to create any special effects, such as the maroon background, with the canoe and trees, that borders the main content.

I chose to put the phone numbers on the bottom of every page (rather than on a special 'contact us' section), so they are always accessible no matter where you are on the site.

I strived to get people to the content of interest to them in as few links as possible.
