These photos were also used in the 3D motion graphic video, using a "fly-through camera" technique. These exterior shots were used in the interior of the spooky building - my idea was to create an unsettling, surrealistic feeling by the odd juxtaposition of the exterior shots on the inside of the castle.Where else but in Chinatown can you find such a smorgasbord of colours - pink, blue, green, red, gold - shapes (like the round Chinese sign and the circular disks contrasting with rectangular signs) - and co-mingling of Western and far Eastern aesthetic? I also enjoy the architectural detail at the top of the photo.
